Cooking at the Ronald McDonald House in New Brunswick
Some of the girls from Troop 60022 took time out of their busy schedule to partcipate in the Caring Cooks program at the Ronald McDonald House in New Brunswick, NJ on Saturday 10/10. As part of the Caring Cooks program the girls made a home cooked meal for those families residing at the house this weekend. The girls made 2 trays of baked ziti and a tray of meatballs. Along with a tray of rolls, the girls prepared a garden salad, fruit salad and desserts. Since there was only room for 8 people in the kitchen (6 girls and 2 leaders), the rest of the troop will be heading back to do it again after the new year!
