Help serve holiday meals for SHIP

Since 1991, SHIP’s Holiday Meals Program has brought hope and a hot meal to the forgotten, the lonely, the poor, the unwanted, the homeless, and any of our neighbors in need, on Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. No one is turned away from our table. The average attendance at our Holiday Meals is about 250, with another 150 requests for meals packed to go. SHIP has provided thousands of people in need with a warm holiday meal, at no cost to our guests. Our gracious host for the Holiday Meals Program, since we served our first holiday meal on December 25, 1991, is the United Reformed Church on 100 West Main Street, Somerville, New Jersey. Individuals, families and groups (limited to 6 people per group) are welcome to help not only bring food to the table, but also to bring joy and hope to our neighbors in need. Volunteer time: 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM. If you would like to volunteer, call soon 908-393-9545. Available slots fill quickly, especially for Thanksgiving. Donations are also greatly appreciated. Please call SHIP and let us know what you intend to donate: 908-393-9545 SEE ATTACHED FLYER (SHIP Holiday Meals) FOR DONATIONS
